Rule # Description Status
(Sec 6.18) One fuel tank per vehicle is permitted and must meet the following requirements: (Sec 6.18) Pass
(Sec 6.18.1) Maximum capacity of 6 quarts (5.68 L) (Sec 6.18.1) Pass
(Sec 6.18.2) Incorporate a 1-quart level mark via a sight gauge on opaque tanks or a marking on the tank for transparent tanks (Sec 6.18.2) Pass
(Sec 6.18.3) A manual fuel supply shutoff must be incorporated and must meet the following requirements: (Sec 6.18.3) Pass
(Sec 6.18.3.1) Be installed between the tank and the fuel pump (Sec 6.18.3.1) Pass
(Sec 6.18.3.2) Be easily accessible from the outside of the vehicle and without removal of vehicle components (Sec 6.18.3.2) Pass
(Sec 6.18.4) A dedicated drain line must be incorporated and must meet the following requirements: (Sec 6.18.4) Pass
(Sec 6.18.4.1) Include a control valve (Sec 6.18.4.1) Pass
(Sec 6.18.4.2) Be easily accessible from outside the vehicle and without removal of vehicle components (Sec 6.18.4.2) Pass
(Sec 6.18.4.3) Must drain to the ground without contacting any other vehicle components. (Sec 6.18.4.3) Pass
(Sec 6.19) Fuel tank must be mounted a minimum of 24-inches (610mm) from the battery. (Sec 6.19) Pass
(Sec 6.19.1) It must not be mounted in the same sealed compartment as any battery. (Sec 6.19.1) Pass
(Sec 6.20) Fuel tank must have a minimum opening of 1.25 inches (32 mm) diameter and be equipped with a vented cap. (Sec 6.20) Pass
(Sec 6.21) Access to refuel the vehicle with a fuel can must be provided. (Sec 6.21) Pass
(Sec 6.22) If a fuel cooling system is utilized, it may not contain nitrogen or other harmful chemicals. (Sec 6.22) Pass
